Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The Saracens Head shines brightly for its engaging atmosphere, where the community spirit runs high. The fantastic food receives rave reviews, particularly the sirloin steak cooked to perfection. Regulars enjoy the friendly service and quick meal delivery, making every visit a joy.

Guests also love the diverse range of entertainment options, especially the interactive darts that invites friendly competition. Families appreciate the outdoor bouncy castle and kid-friendly menu items. The Sunday Roast Burger is a crowd-pleaser, along with a good selection of beers on tap.

Most Disliked

While The Saracens Head is a hit with many, it has its share of drawbacks. Some visit during peak hours, particularly Fridays at 6 PM, can lead to long waits for food and drinks, and a crowded dining area may diminish the experience.

A few patrons find the noise level rises significantly during live entertainment, especially if you're looking for a quiet evening. Limited dessert options have also been noted, though the ice cream and jelly pot for kids are delights.

Paul and Emma keep an amazing pub and there is always a warm welcome. The food and drink is second to none and there is fun to be found for the whole family. The pub also does so much for the local community and raises so much for those in need. The menu is modern and fresh. The food well cooked and served quickly.

Omg, you need to come to Saracens Head. Amazing food, friendly service and amazing atmosphere and this is down to Paul and his team. They know what a pub needs, great drinks and food first and foremost, but then there are quizzes, fun activities such as pig racing, karaoke and live entertainment. There are things for the kids to do such as the bouncy castle outside, charity fun days and Halloween parties in the function room...honestly, don't take my word for it, come and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed!!

Wow! Hubby and I are both quite local to this place, but even he mentioned that he hadn't been inside this building for over 30 years!! We definitely won't be leaving it that long for the next visit. VERY impressed with the whole visit from start to finish. A lovely warm welcome from Ashleigh, plus she took the time to talk to us at our table. All the staff are very polite and extremely friendly, whilst maintaining a high level of service and professionalism. They all spoke so clearly and concisely... this really does put the visitor at ease, as (subconsciously) you know your meal is going to arrive exactly as you ordered (no misunderstandings/ miscommunications like other food outlets where clarity may not be at the top of the customer service list). Lovely relaxed decor, with a shabby-chic feel. Anyway, superb quality steaks, cooked perfectly. Followed by sticky toffee pudding to absolutely die for. Can't wait to visit again. We'll take our daughter and her fella next time :-)

We haven't been to the Saracens Head for a little while and we called in on the off chance today for some lunch. We were initially very impressed by the refurbishment , it was warm comfortable and welcoming. The gentleman that attended to us was very friendly and amendable. The menu was ample and most competitively priced, the food was hot, fresh and delicious. We will most definitely be returning, possibly for one of their evening specials or Sunday Lunch which again seem very reasonably priced. All in all a most enjoyable experience.
